Omni Technologies to attend UK Semiconductor 2018 in Sheffield

4th-5th July 2018

Omni Technolgies will atttend the UK Semiconductors exhibition at Sheffield Hallam University on 4th and 5th July 2018. We will be exhibiting the new LatticeGear Scribe/Cleave Equipment and the new Gencoa Optix Vacuum Gas Monitor as well as promoting our range of products and solutions in the following areas:

  • Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP)
  • E Beam Evaporation
  • RF Plasma Etch, Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) and Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition (PECVD)
  • Microwave Plasma Etching
  • PVD Magnetron’s, Ion Sources, Closed loop Plasma and control systems including gauges
  • Parylene Deposition
  • Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP)
  • Field Service Equipment & Process Engineering support
  • Ion Beam Etch & Deposition
  • Atomic Layer Deposition
  • Cleaving & Scribing
  • Electro Chemical Deposition (ECD)
  • Mask & Wafer Cleaning Syustems

For areas not mentioned, please also contact us to discuss as we may be able to help.

The UK Semiconductors Conference is regularly attended by around 250 delegates from across the UK’s leading academic research groups and commercial organisations. This provides an excellent forum to showcase products and services to a major section of the semiconductor community.

The exhibition space (held in the same building as the bulk of the scientific program) will also host the poster presentations, lunches and refreshment breaks providing numerous networking opportunities

Technical Programme

Programme Scope

All aspects of semiconductor research are covered in the program including materials science, physics and engineering.

Examples include;

Materials:- Epitaxy, fabrication, characterization and theoretical properties of Si, Ge, III-Vs (including III-Nitrides), II-Vs, organic semiconductors, hybrid organic/inorganic systems and perovskites. Bulk materials and nanostructures including quantum dots/wires/wells and superlattices. 2D materials including transition metal dichalcogenides.

Physics:- Electronic and optical properties, photonic bandgap structures ,spintronics, quantum information processing, resonant tunnelling, transport, and magnetic semiconductors.
